Long-Lasting Wood Table Oil
Colour and protect your wooden table in one single layer with our environmentally friendly, 0% VOC wood table oil. Our oil solution is permeable and allows the wood to breathe naturally, while also making it easy to repair and clean. Available in a range of colours, this product is perfect for any kind of wood that needs long-lasting protection from wear and tear.
How to:
STEP 1. Untreated wood: sand the surface scratch-free. Vacuum thoroughly, eliminate remains of dust with Rubio Monocoat Cleaner.
STEP 2. Carefully mix the two components (1 to 2 minutes) with a ratio of appr. 3 units A to 1 unit B.
STEP 3. Once the cleaned surface is dry, spread out a small quantity of Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C (cloth or polishing machine with thin beige pad). Work in zones of 5 - 10 m2.
STEP 4. Let absorb during a few minutes. Thoroughly remove all excess of oil (cloth or polishing machine with white pad) within 15 minutes per zone. The surface should feel dry! Finish all zones the same way.
STEP 5. In a well ventilated room, the surface can be used 24 - 36 hours after the application.
After 5 days a treatment with water and Rubio Monocoat products can be applied.
30 - 50 m2/L, depending on the wood type, sanding and application method. Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C may be used for a maximum of 4 - 6 hours after mixing.

An important process of the oiling journey is the maintenance. If you look after your wooden tabletop well, it'll last a lifetime. We have all the products for you to take care of your table daily, annually and as and when it stains.
Cleaning
Daily cleaning is an important part of the aftercare routine and our All Natural Wood Cleaner Spray is perfect for the job. It comes in three different scents - Nordic Breeze, Sahara Nights and Alpine Meadow. It's also available in a handy 125ml bottle ready to be used daily. The probiotic cleaner is the first of its kind and will continue to clean long after you've finished.
How to:
STEP 1. Make the surface dust-free.
STEP 2. Spray Rubio Monocoat All Natural Wood Cleaner - Spray onto the surface.
STEP 3. Rub dry with a mop or microfiber cloth.
STEP 4. Allow to dry. Rinsing with clean water is not necessary.
Easy-to-Maintain Wooden Table Oil
Are you looking to freshen up your oiled interior wood? Our Universal Maintenance Oil 2 Mix can help by renewing the look of your wood and providing optimal protection. Please note that Universal Maintenance Oil 2 Mix is not a standalone product and must be combined with Oil Plus 2C.
Products to use:
Universal Maintenance Oil 2 Mix (60ml) + Oil Plus 2C in chosen colour (20ml)
How to:
STEP 1. Eliminate all dust from the surface.
STEP 2. Spray All Natural Wood Cleaner Spray or Surface Care on the surface.
STEP 3. Rub dry with a mop or a microfibre cloth.
STEP 4. Let the surface dry. Rinsing with clean water is not necessary.
STEP 5. Take the Universal Maintenance Oil and add the Oil Plus 2C component A in the same colour with which the surface was treated before. The correct ratio is 3 parts Universal Maintenance Oil to 1 part Oil Plus 2C (as provided in the packaging set). Mix thoroughly.
STEP 6. Apply a small amount of oil with a brush and afterwards spread out with a red Rubio Monocoat Scrubby pad. Preferably work in areas of 2 to 4 m2 (areas which you can finish within ± 15 minutes, including the next step).
STEP 7. Allow to absorb for a few minutes and massage the oil into the wood with a white Rubio Monocoat Scrubby pad.
STEP 8. Wipe away all the excess oil with a Rubio Monocoat Oil removal cloth. The surface should look even.
