What a view! Who doesn't dream of waking up in the middle of nature? This modern log home, known as Villa Kivi, is located among trees and along the water, on a tiny island in Finland. The beautiful setting and the design of the wooden house are thé match made in heaven. This unique home was designed by the Finnish designer Vertti Kivi, the head of dSign Vertti Kivi & Co.

Dark and light colours alternate throughout the house. The snow-white floor creates a great contrast with the dark walls. Inside, they chose to finish the brushed spruce walls with Precolor Easy, colour Intense Black in combination with Oil Plus 2C, colour Black. For the brushed spruce ceiling and douglas spruce floor, in contrast to the walls, a lighter colour was chosen as finish.

The ceiling was finished with Precolor Easy, colour Nordic White in combination with Oil Plus 2C, colour Super White. The beautiful wooden floor was then finished with Precolor Easy, colour Mint White in combination with Oil Plus 2C, Cotton White.

And, as icing on the cake, there is also a nice sauna to relax in. The sauna was also finished with Precolor Easy, colour Intense Black in combination with Oil Plus 2C, colour Black.
