The black stained slatted panels in oak are hallway storage. There is also a hidden door in the panelling that leads to a different part of the house. Finishes for this are Precolor Easy in Intense Black and Oil Plus 2C in Charcoal.

For the fireplace feature wall, they added oak large slats around an existing fire along with stone. They also fixed chopped logs to the wall at either side, to create the look of log storage for the fire. Oil Plus 2C in the colour Natural on oak was used for the panelling.
