Before applying Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C, carefully inspect the wooden surfaces for any damage such as scratches, dents, or cracks. Repair these issues using our Wood Filler Quick to ensure a smooth and flawless finish.

Proper cleaning is crucial for the success of the application. Remove any dirt, dust, or previous finishes from the wood surface. Then, you can use our Cleaner for interior wood, or our Exterior Wood Cleaner for outdoor surfaces such as sheds, decking, and outdoor furniture.

Now that your wooden surface has been properly prepared - it's time to start applying the oil.

To achieve optimal results, we recommend using our specially designed application tools for Oil Plus 2C:

• Oil Plus 2C
• Beige scrubby pad
• White scrubby pad
• Oil removal cloth
• Stirring stick

• Shake the Oil Plus 2C container well before use, or you can mix well with a stirring stick.
• Mix 3 parts Part A (the oil) to 1 part Part B (the accelerator).
• Using a beige scrubby pad, apply the oil on the wood surface.
• For larger surfaces, work in sections to ensure even coverage.
• After applying the oil, let it sit for 5 minutes to allow it to penetrate the wood fibres.
• Use a white scrubby pad or white wiping rag to remove any excess oil from the surface.
• The surface will be dry within 12-24 hours. It is important to handle the surface with care and avoid cleaning it until it is fully cured, which will take up to 5  days.
