WoodCream was chosen for the exterior cladding of this stunning residence in Hout Bay, Cape Town, because the finish mimics the look of Shou Sugi Ban (ancient Japanese technique of burning timber). This home was designed by Salt Architects and built by Musa Renovations and Projects. The home owners wanted the cladding to look modern without coming across as too "slick" or having too much sheen in the finish. WoodCream created a natural look and feel, showing the variance of the natural grain and weathered look. Besides the aesthetics, they chose this product because of the ease of application and maintenance.

"No sanding, priming or prepping. Touch ups require a wipe down and reapplication. It sounds too good to be true but that is the beauty of Rubio Ronocoat." - Lunawood
