*First attempt to remove the stain(s) with Surface Care or All Natural Wood Cleaner Spray (consult technical data sheet for use). If the stain is not removed, follow the steps below*.
STEP 1. Spray Grease Remover on the stain.
STEP 2. Let absorb for 2 to 3 minutes.
STEP 3. Dab dry with a cloth or a paper towel (do not wipe!).
STEP 4. Clean the whole surface thoroughly after. Use a damp cloth for this or clean with Surface Care.
- For the removal of stubborn stains, you may need to repeat the procedure above several times until the stains have completely disappeared.
- After treatment with Grease Remover or if the stain has penetrated too deeply into the wood, it may be necessary to locally reapply some oil in the original colour.
- Do not use this product on the following surfaces: untreated wood, wood treated with non-Rubio Monocoat products, Invisible Protector.
- Do not use Rubio Monocoat stain removers (Tannin, Grease and Limespot Removers) on surfaces pre-treated with reactive products (reactive stains).
- The product can be stored for up to 12 months in dry conditions and in the original packaging.
- Store in a frost-free place.
Grease Remover is a ready-to-use product for removing fresh grease stains from a surface treated with Rubio Monocoat oil. It is recommended to apply this product immediately after the stain has occurred, thereby preventing the grease from penetrating.
Examples of grease stains that can be removed with Grease Remover are:
- Olive oil
- Oil for chips
- Chips
- Oil
- Shoe marks
- Shoe polish
- Physical state at 20 °C: liquid
- Colour: clear, blue
- Flash point: around 11 °C
- Density: 0,806 kg/L - 0,850 kg/L
- Solubility in water: 100%
