› Furniture, stairs & worktops
STEP 1. Eliminate all dust from the surface.
STEP 2. Spray All Natural Wood Cleaner Spray or Surface Care on the surface.
STEP 3. Rub dry with a mop or a microfibre cloth.
STEP 4. Let the surface dry. Rinsing with clean water is not necessary.
STEP 5. Take the Universal Maintenance Oil and add the Oil Plus 2C component A in the same colour with which the surface was treated before. The correct ratio is 3 parts Universal Maintenance Oil to 1 part Oil Plus 2C (as provided in the packaging set). Mix thoroughly.
STEP 6. Apply a small amount of oil with a brush and afterwards spread out with a red Rubio Monocoat Scrubby pad. Preferably work in areas of 2 to 4 m² (areas which you can finish within ± 15 minutes, including the next step).
STEP 7. Allow to absorb for a few minutes and massage the oil into the wood with a white Rubio Monocoat Scrubby pad.
STEP 8. Wipe away all the excess oil with a Rubio Monocoat Oil removal cloth. The surface should look even.
› Floors
STEP 1. Vacuum the surface. Eliminate dust, sand, small stones, ...
STEP 2. Clean the floor with All Natural Wood Cleaner or Universal Soap.
- Press the pump 5 times and by doing so add 10 ml of All Natural Wood Cleaner to a bucket of 5-8L with lukewarm water (max. ca. 40°C).
- Pour a maximum of 50 to 100 ml of Universal Soap in a bucket with 10 litres of water.
STEP 3. Clean the surface with a mop or cloth.
Be careful: don't leave any water on the surface, it's sufficient to clean moist.
STEP 4. Let dry. Don't walk on the floor while it's not completely dry. Rinsing with clean water is not necessary.
STEP 5. Take the Universal Maintenance Oil and carefully add the Oil Plus 2C component A in the same colour with which the surface was treated before. The correct ratio is 3 parts Universal Maintenance Oil to 1 part Oil Plus 2C (as provided in the packaging set). Mix thoroughly.
STEP 6. Apply a small amount of Universal Maintenance Oil with a brush and afterwards spread out in the direction of the wood using an Extension Pole, Flexible Pad Holder and a red pad of 11.5 cm by 25 cm. Preferably work in areas of 5 to 10 m² (areas which you can finish within ± 15 minutes, including the next step).
STEP 7. Allow to absorb for a few minutes and massage the oil into the wood with a white pad of 11.5 by 25 cm.
STEP 8. Wipe away all the excess oil with a Rubio Monocoat Oil removal cloth. The surface should look even.
- The product may not be diluted under any circumstances, unless indicated otherwise in the instructions.
- Stir the product well before application.
- When using several containers, it is recommended to mix them for an even result.
- Maintenance with Oil Plus 2C in the original colour of application is recommended as soon as the treated surface starts to show too much wear.
- Replace the Rubio Monocoat Oil removal cloth timely. If the cloth no longer absorbs sufficient oil, it is time to replace it.
- The WoodCream Brushes can help you with transporting the amount of oil you need to your surface. They are not suited for actually applying the product, but will help you work cleanly and economise the usage. Depending on the type of surface you treat, you should choose either the WoodCream Brush Small or Medium.
- For furniture and stairs we recommend the small brush as it fits into the can of the 80 ml set (this brush is 2.54 cm wide).
- For floors, we recommend the medium brush because with the 400 ml set you are using a cup anyway and a larger brush is more convenient for this type of surface (this brush is 5.08 cm wide).
400 ml = 50-75 m²

* These usages are merely indicative. Results depend on wood type, sanding and method of preparation. It is always recommended to make a sample in order to calculate the exact usage.
- Linseed oil is a natural product and not subject to spontaneous combustion. However, oil on a cloth or other tools does entail a fire risk. The oxidation of the oil leads to heat accumulation, which can result in spontaneous combustion. Therefore, the cloths and other tools must be soaked in water before disposal.
- The product can be stored up to 12 months in dry, frost-free conditions and in its original packaging.
