Instructions

STEP 1. Sand the surface scratch-free until all residues of previous treatments are removed and remove all dust residue thoroughly.

STEP 2. Apply Tannin Primer using a brush, roller or spray at a rate of 50 g/m². Even out with a cloth in the direction of the boards to prevent puddles.

STEP 3. Allow to dry thoroughly.

STEP 4. Remove any raised fibres using a beige Rubio Monocoat Pad.

STEP 5. Wipe down the surface and apply your choice of Rubio Monocoat finishing oil.

Approx. 50 g/m²

These usages are merely indicative. Results depend on wood type, wear and tear and method of preparation. It is always recommended to make a sample in order to calculate the exact usage.

Tannin Primer prevents and delays the appearance of surface tannin marks. This product is ideal for use on parquet flooring, furniture and worktops in combination with Rubio Monocoat finishing oils. Tannin Primer is resin- and polymer-free, as a result of which the optimal molecular bonding of the Rubio Monocoat oils with the wood remains guaranteed.
